Who are One Direction?

One Direction are a British boyband that were formed on the U.K talent show, The X Factor. Each member of One Direction initially auditioned as a solo artist, but were later put together to form a boyband, that went on to finish in third place on The X Factor 2010.

There are 5 members of One Direction which include Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Liam Payne.

Taking a look at the One Direction boys. - Harry Styles

Harry Stylesseems to be the most popular one of the group, with a lot of recent coverage over his ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack and his interest in older women.  He is said to be the main vocalist of the group, One Direction, however others would disagree.

Harry Styles is from Cheshire and was born on  Feb 1 1994.   He originally auditioned on The X Factor as a solo artist, but didn't make it past bootcamp. However Harry Styles, along with the other One Direction boys, was given a second chance, and made it to the live finals of The X Factor in 2010, finishing in a respectable 3rd place.
